I noticed that to. I'm guessing it was a spam comment that has been deleted...

Only Invelos can post in that forum, so that shouldn't happen. I wonder if someone is trying to tell us something without actually telling us something?

Yes and no. Only Invelos can post new threads. Everyone (registered) can reply.

You're right. What I should have said was: Only Invelos can post in that thread. it's locked for replies.
Btw, the last post date seems to have been reset now.

All topics are locked, so no one except Ken or Geri can post or reply there.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power, governments and armies cannot stand.

There's one thread that hasn't been locked but it hasn't seen activity since 2008.

Would this make a good movie script? What do you think 'Invelos The Movie' will it be a drama, horror or comedy?

Nice to see that the software and website are still working. But a company that doesn't let us know anything for a long time, to mostly paying users (even though I think it's a very good offer) doesn't give me confidence in the future of this organization.

As long as I can use the software and website I am a satisfied user

I have considered if it could maybe be an apocalyptic dama, where the poor programmer somehow looses all copies and backups of his source code, and you then follow his existential crisis when trying to decide whether to try and recreate it (knowing full well it will probably take years) or just give it up all together...

I know.  I've done it myself.  I just believe it's bad form to post personal information about other forum members without their permission.

I do wonder what happened that development came to a screeching halt.  In one of my support tickets from the end of 2017, Ken mentioned they were working on an update to the rules, but that never materialized.

How do we know this?  One of my (possibly unrealistic) hopes is that DVD Profiler is being redone from the ground up to support 64 bit computing, unicode, and streaming purchases.  Ken never was one to let us in on future plans until he was ready to spring them on us.

It seems the original post for this quote no longer exists so either GSyren removed or someone else did.

Invelos seems to have removed several posts.  I know at least one of mine was also deleted.
