I just switched to a system similar to yours, but my fake birthyears are build 9000 + IMDb-ID. I thought about using 9900 + IMDb-ID (like you do, if I remember correctly), but there are 106 different Mike Smith according to IMDb and I wanted to keep them below 10000.
What do you do in case of Vanessa Williams (1963) and Vanessa Williams (1963)? Right now I use 2963 and 3963 as fake birthyears.

surfeur: i am with you, if everyone would agree on exactly the same fake birthyear system, this would work, but i think it will be impossible to get everyone on the same system

As you are now responsible for the headshot database, why don't you decide which system to use.
I'd be happy to follow whatever you come up with in my future contributions.

Personally, I use 9999 for the first duplicate, and count down if multiple exist. I suppose other users may have a better system, so I have no problems to change.
