As far as remaining anonymous when you contribute such profiles, no.  Don't sweat it though, nobody cares and you are unlikely to hear any comments from anybody.  A lot more people own adult films than you might expect.

I think he has a good point there. Having your name exposed as an adult dvd contributor might stop one or the other to actually contribute.

Point of curiousity here:  I've always figured that an avid movie fan is going to have a little bit of everything in his collection, even - as in this case - some "adult" entertainment.  Seems to me that makes for a well rounded individual.  Now, if you had 2348 titles and they were ALL porn, I might think that a tad strange, but hey, to each his own, right? 

Anyway, I'm genuinely curious as to why it bothers you?  Only registered users will be able to vote, and then only if they, too, have the same title.  They won't even see the contribution if they don't own it.  If you prevent them from being shown in your online collection, casual viewers are out of the loop as well.

However, if anyone wanted to give grief to porn fan members (that they may believe are "deviant") they could check out all Adult titles in the list for download, download to their 'wishlist', check the contributors and (if their email was available) use it or simply attack them on the Forums (though I assume such would be removed quite quickly).

I've never heard of this happening, I've never received any comment on mine (however 'off the wall'  ) and personally have no problem but can understand why some (maybe those who are already persecuted by some sections of society such as gay members) may choose not to contribute for these reasons.
On the flip side I can understand why making this anonymous could cause problems with data being wiped or messed up with no recourse to contact the person making the error.
