| Posted: | | | | Hope someone can help...
Whenever I click on the trailer button it brings up the trailer window just fine but just shows a black screen in the window instead of playing the trailer.
I tried the usual of closing profiler...doing a database repair... and even rebooting the entire computer with no luck.
Any ideas? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It appears DVD Profiler is relying on the Adobe flash browser plugin. Most browsers are moving away from flash in favor of HTML5. | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

| Posted: | | | | DVD Profiler uses your default browser and when I copy the URL from that popup window and paste it into the browser I get the same issue (black screen) in Edge.
I also visit Blu-ray.com and for the longest time adobe flash YouTube videos wouldn't load in Chrome since I have the plug-in disabled even though I have my settings for Google set to default to HTML5. Within the last week, those embedded YouTube videos are now working and seem to default to HTML5. Maybe it's just a coincidence. |

| Posted: | | | | If I remember correctly the trailer window in profiler does not use the default browser (in my case (Waterfox)...it uses IE. Almost positive Ken stated that at one point. So far I have found the links in profiler work in every browser I have installed. Just do not work in profiler itself.
I am the first to admit I am confused on the subject. I am wondering if it is something I need to do on my side... or if it is something Ken has to fix. Which would really suck! | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

| Posted: | | | | It's working for me now, but it doesn't autoplay. It loads the trailer and you have to push play.
I'm using the most updated version of Windows 10. |
