| Posted: | | | | I know this is probably going to end without an agreement... but I want opinions on this release I got last night... It is in the database just as: Title: Zombie Double Feature But for some reason when I look at the cover it feels to me like it should be... Title: Dead Season / State of Emergency Edition: Zombie Double Feature So want to see what other people thought on this one. The profile is a barely there basically front cover and title only... so this one needs lots of work! | | | Pete |

This would be my first guess - at least it seems to be clossest to the rules, although I find the edition idea very charming... The existing title is a no go, since it avoids searching - or at least finding :-) - the titles... | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

Title: Dead Season / State of Emergency Edition: Zombie Double Feature This. That "Zombie Double Feature" is the biggest text on the cover doesn't make it a title, it's only a description of the edition. For example the German lable Universum Film has many releases with a "2 Movies -> Watch it!" slogan on the title. To give all these releases the same title would only result in messy search results and not be helpful at all. So in my opinion it would be best to list all double feature releases with the "[Title 1 / Title 2]" option, as long as the titles of the movies are prominently shown on the cover. | | | Recently bought films:

The profile is a barely there basically front cover and title only... so this one needs lots of work! I almost agree with you Pete. It is two films packaged together. "Zombie Double Feature" is a descriptor, not a title. But I do not think it is an "Edition" either. Are there any other releases of this double-pack? I would enter it as: Title: Dead Season / State of Emergency: Zombie Double Feature10.5 / Category 7 All Regions Released: 7/29/2008 Widescreen Act of Violence / Mystery Street Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 Released: 7/31/2007 Angel in the Family / The Man Who Saved Christmas Regions ABC Released: 7/28/2009 Widescreen 1.78 Cat People / The Curse of the Cat People Regions 1, 4 Released: 10/4/2005 Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea / Fantastic Voyage Region 1 Released: 9/5/2000 Anamorphic 2.35 | | | Hal | | | Last edited: by hal9g |

| Posted: | | | | When I do such Double Feature I always put Double Feature in the Edition. The Title then would be:
Zombie: Dead Season / State of Emergency
I find, Double Feature has really nothing to do in the Title. It's an edition with two films. In the Title we should put things that belong to the Title like Zombie and the Titles of the two films.

Fritz It is a release with 2 films. The same as Zombie Triple Feature or 50 Western Classics. Should be consistent when it comes to multi-film releases. No way I'm gonna put 50 movie titles in the title field, and have 50 Western Classics in the edition field just because they have the titles on the front cover. You change it for Double Feature and it opens up 1000's of other Multi-film releases that have titles on the front cover that can be changed. And how do you argue no then? Oh I forgot, that's when the elitist Hypocritical position is played. For a minute I forgot what forum board I was on. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

The title of this box set release is 'Zombie Double Feature'. It isn't pretty, and it may not make sense but, in my opinion, it's what the rules call for. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
