Today marks a year since I first posted on these forums. Now while I had dvdp for near a month beforehand, I didn't really do anything with it for the first few weeks. Then I started adding my 'massive' collection of just over 50 titles and started asking questions.

Things I have accomplished in the year:
Kept JB's in the black for their financial status.
Made a lot of mistakes and seen many more from others.
Still am completely clueless trying to add a crew list.

Things I'd like to see in the next year.
A better DVDP - even if I have to pay for it.
Film industry to stop penalising people because they don't live in the USA (we get lower quality)
More people - especially Aussies - posting on the forums.

No need to reply to this post - it's really only for my own self gratification

Happy Birthday Parsec!
I've been here and on the old intervocative site for about 13 years and I'm still learning.

Cheers

Parsec is a unit of length, not of time.

A number of titles are released in the US with more extras then we get here, also they will be released in DTS-MA 7.1, once it gets over here its suddenly DTS 5.1 if you're lucky.

Dammit.  I was in the middle of thinking up a similar witty comment.  But mine would have been better as I would have referenced the Kessel run.

I'm almost 5. You make me feel old

My daughter's mother and family are kiwi.  She took them for a visit a couple of years ago and they loved it, I'd love to visit at some point.  No real offense intended.
