I am no longer able to add more than one "custom" listing. I enter one, and the last one entered disappears. Some, but not all of the ones I originaly entered are still there. I am using the following, which have not changed since I started:

DVD Profiler iOS 2.0.2
iOS 6.1.3

Anyone else having this problem? I've already sent a msg to support.

No reply from support. Not even to say that they'll look into it.

After a very long time of searching I found a place on their website that says you are only able to add a certain amount of "custom" titles. I emailed them to see if purchasing the "full" version allowed more "custom" titless to be added, but as of yet they have not responded.

If by custom listing you mean custom titles, as in, titles that are not in the database... then i believe you can add as many as you like if you use the windows program... - In Invelos slang, we call these manual profiles. i am fairly sure the free version of the windows program will allow this and then it c an be synced over to iOS

are you guys using iOS only?

Or are they referring to custom categories?  In which case I believe there is a limit on the number of categories that can be added; 10-14 is what I believe i remember hearing.

This.

I am using the iOS and free desktop versions. I prefer to key them in on the iPad, for convenience. (and then sync online, and finally to desktop, because "ios to PC sync" is another thing they don't or can't fix.

I tried reinstalling the app, no go; then shutting off the "add collection no" setting the other day, and that worked for a while, but now that doesn't help either.

They don't respond to support requests, so that doesn't inspire confidence to bother to upgrade the desktop version.

How many titles do you have in your database?  It may have something to do with the fact that the free version of DVD Profiler for PC will only allow you to upload 50 titles to the online database.

Great. So I can't even enter the custom titles, using the desktop version, because the offline sync is broken?

Can you explain in more detail what the issue is with the offline sync (are you referring to WiFi)?  Have you checked to make sure the specified port is open and turned off any firewall/AV software to see if that is what's causing the issue?

No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.

The iOS to PC sync doesn't need to be fixed, it works fine and is all I use.  If you could tell us what the issue is, maybe one of us could help you solve it.

All I want to do is add titles to my specific database that aren't found by searching by title or UPC. However, I entered several "custom" titles & then noticed that it started erasing my previous entry when I'd add a new one. I only use my iPhone 4 to add titles.

I simply want to know if I purchase the $30.00 "ful" app will I be able to add the rest of my custom titles.

It sounds like you've never used the PC version.  If this is the case then, no, purchasing the PC version will not fix the problem you're having.

Curious as to how many titles do you have in your database?  How many of those are custom titles?
