| | Posted: | | | | This sound editor/sound designer/sometimes actor uses various name variants, and I'm wondering which is the "common" one for our purposes. The current CLT numbers are very close together, with, as usual, a lot of bad data to be found under the IMDb-name variant (mined data, effects editor credits, even uncredited work). Also note that the "Richard Steele" numbers are off thanks to other people named Richard Steele, for instance a British actor appearing in episodes of 'Dr. Who' and 'Special Branch' - that's not who I'm looking for here. Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken: Richard Steele | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.

Desperation is really "Stephen King's Desperation", that I have audited twice and don't have any variant of Rich there. Can't recall if he was a role we don't track or just not there at all, but he's not on my local. Either way, the one credit there for that film is invalid. |
