Currently we can view others contribution votes, but we see the No votes followed by the Yes votes.

I think it would be more helpful to view the notes in the order they were cast.  That way if we see some yes votes followed by a bunch of no votes, we can deduce that the yes votes were probably from people who missed some problem with the contribution.  If we see yes and no votes intermingled with each other, it's a good indication that something about the contribution is causing controversy.

Basically, any vote cast before the first no vote is suspect in my eyes.  If they were listed in the order the votes were cast, then I would know to take the Yes votes with a grain of salt.

I can understand why they are grouped, but one time when I saw a flood of No votes with only a few Yes votes (one person voted "No" and everyone else felt the and to chime in with "I agree.")  I wondered about the same thing.

It makes sense to have things reordered by vote. They are color coded so unless you are r/g color blind it doesn't matter, and even if you are there is the Yes/No percentage bar that says enough at a glance. without the need to group thme by type.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.

Seems like I am in the minority... I actually like the way it is now. Seeing which votes came first don't matter to me one bit. All that matters in my eyes is if the no votes are per the Rules or not. I personally couldn't care less which vote came in when. Just because the votes came in earlier or later don't mean they are or aren't per the invelos rules (votes or submission). And to me... as a contributor seeing all the no votes up top is much easier to check then having to scan the entire list to find any and all no votes.

But hey... that is me.

I'd like to see a hybrid of this.

I like having all the no votes at the top so that I can quickly see if there is a serious problem with the contribution.

But within the "yes" and "no" votes, I'd prefer to see them in the order they were submitted rather than alphabetically by the first word in the note.

Reverse alphabetical to be precise. Yes votes usually have no notes, are they in reversed submitted order?

Hah, i'd never noticed this.  I knew that voter names seemed to move "randomly" but had never noted that pattern.  I wonder if it is to push the "Agree with others" votes to the bottom of the No votes.

And yes, comments on Yes votes are also reverse sorted based on a couple samples in my contribution queue.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

I fail to see the point of this.  I'm not against the idea, I just don't understand how this is an improvement.  Can you explain more?

I believe the point is so you can see where the "No" votes started.  If there were originally 3 Yes votes, then suddenly one person noticed the error and a slew of No votes follow, it makes it clear that the first 3 people were aware of there error.  The current system makes it impossible to tell if the Yes votes are just voting blindly that way.  The new way would also make it clear who the "Agree" comments are referring to.  At least, that's my interpretation of what the change is requested for.

Doing it reverse alphabetically doesn't make sense to me, and undoubtedly some folks deliberately word their notes to get to the top of the list.  Doing it by the order submitted, let's me know if the early voters in each category (yes or no) were actually paying attention or just robo-voting.  It also tells me if the late voters were paying attention to other voters or not.

Let's say I'm voter #3. The two before me voted yes. When I vote I check the contribution against any obvious errors. Then I check what the other voters had to say. If there's no no, I vote yes, too.

Now voter #4 comes along and he spots something the others and I have missed. He votes rightfully no and explains it. My experience is that from now on later voters will either agree with him or not but the number of yes votes without a note will drop dramatically.

From the outside it looks like the first three voters (me included) don't agree with voter #4. But we just didn't see what he saw and we never saw his objection.
