| Posted: | | | | Need help to determine common name.
Currently these are the variants:
Buck Flower George "Buck" Flower George 'Buck' Flower George Buck Flower
I don't have the time to go through the entire list in the CLT...so, what I would like (if people want to help) is for people to look at their local collection for entries and let me know.
Buck Flower (5) Back to the Future **Confirmed by Pantheon** Back to the Future Part II **Confirmed by Pantheon** Village of the Damned **Confirmed by Pantheon** Wishmaster **Confirmed by Pantheon** Escape from New York **Confirmed by schismatrix**
George "Buck" Flower (3) The Fog **Confirmed by Pantheon** Puppet Master II **Confirmed by Pantheon** They Live **Confirmed by schismatrix**
George 'Buck' Flower

| Posted: | | | | You create a topic now? I hope you understand this confuses things and you should really withdraw your BTTF contributions meanwhile. The credibility of the contribution is lowered a great deal.
It would also help if you listed ALL titles from the CLT.
For me it's either do something properly or don't do it at all. |

Agreed, but thank you for listening to the voting notes and starting the thread that we desperately need. (I think Buck will win in a landslide judging by my collection.) Feel free to copy and paste and edit my thread of the names and titles. |

However, because of the crappy attitude (and my commitments elsewhere) I will leave you to take this thread to it's conclusion. | | | Last edited: by Pantheon |

| Posted: | | | | What I meant was mainly that first of all not all contributions are so thought through. And that is one thing. I have done such things as well. But what bothers me more is that erroneous contributions may be accepted when people just vote yes before thinking about it.
Like for this example. What happened with people's consistency? It's like all the yes voters flunk a major test.
Attention to detail is they key, and also to follow the rules here. Even if they may sometimes be irrational. But I still see them as a lot more rational than e.g. the rules in society. |

| Posted: | | | | And my issue was that I forgot to withdraw the contributions after starting the thread. An oversight which was by no means deliberate.
Also, whether a long list of titles is given or not the results will undoubtedly be the same; because people can only check what they physically have in their collection. It's just as easy to check your own database and see what titles you have an actor in. I also explained that I didn't have the time to compile the list - I was not being lazy, only honest.
Lastly, I found your 'do something properly or don't do it at all' statement not only patronising but somewhat rude. Every single time I do an audit on a profile, I do absolutely everything I can do. My aim is to leave the profile in such a state that anyone downloading it doesn't have to do a thing. How many other users of this program can say the same? However, sometimes things get overlooked and have to be addressed later on.
In the case of this actor I realised that there is a possibility I had made a mistake and I tried to rectify that mistake to the best of my ability in my current circumstances - and for that you criticised me. I didn't appreciate it and it was unfounded.
Therefore, I am quite happy to leave you to sort out this problem as you obviously feel your are much better informed and equipped to do so. |

Just kidding of course. I tried to keep up and readjust the titles/profiles with the new titles, but might've missed a couple/few. Amazing how much work Buck has done over the years, from classics to classless, he was there! |
