Not sure how to get the IP of my iPhone 4... No no, I do not require your external IP, just the IPaddress in you local home network. Do you use DHCP on your router/modem? |

Where can I see the IP adresses of the I devices? I only find the WiFi adres. I have installed Pad-Info on my iPad which gives me the IP-address. You might install some free device information app and determine the IP from it. | | | Last edited: by Izo |

No no, I do not require your external IP, just the IPaddress in you local home network. Do you use DHCP on your router/modem? Update - I was able to get iPhone to connect by setting home PC as DMZ host (which isn't acceptable). Soon as I turn off DMZ and try using port forwarding on ports 32847 and 8080, iPhone won't connect. I use DHCP with home router - 192.168.1.xxx. I also have a DNS set up which is what I use to connect to my home PC's on the iPhone using VNC & FTP |

Damn. Just guessing here but did you use the correct password? I noticed in the image that you seem to have different passwords set for viewing and changing..... I have reset the passwords, and tried it again but no connection. I just bought my Ipad last week so very new with it. When I look at my network (vista pc) I see my other devices (notebook, WD tv live etc) but no iPad. Is this normal? |
