| Posted: | | | | Kick-Ass Region 1 Released: 03/08/2010 Widescreen As you can see the forum changes the title of this film but is A S S really a swear word bad enough to require filtering. |

| Posted: | | | | Considering it's also an animal, I'm a little surprised that it's filtered. Even when used for swearing it's one of the mildest available. That's filtered but I've just tried a few other mild terms (two of which also have genuine use) which aren't filtered currently. Edit: Not to mention some stronger, UK English terms aren't filtered. Also the UK equivalent of the OP is also acceptable. | | | Last edited: by Ardos |

| Posted: | | | | they apparently feel so. I for one always hating seeing swearing in posts. Not saying whether or not I agree on that particular word while I don't particularly like to see it in posts... don't know if I would say it is one that bothers me as much as others. Of course things like the above will happen. But... personal opinion... I rather see something like the above happen over seeing swearing all over the forum.
And just for a note... I have seen posts getting moderated for bypassing the filter as you did above. Everyone knows what the word is replacing... there was no need to bypass the filter like that. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It looks like that it's only terms that are considered expletives in US English that are filtered.
As per the edits to my above post, those that we use here can be used at this time. |

| Posted: | | | | Pete - If you don't like seeing them on forums, don't quote any posts that are filtered as you'll see it unfiltered! |

Nice replacements... I would assume George Carlin's 7 words you can never say on television makes the cut! |

| Posted: | | | | It also censors/filters certain words in Private Messages now too. I discovered that a few weeks ago, and thought at first someone was editing my words. | | | Corey |
