| Posted: | | | | Help me out here - how did we do this again? A movie box set (three films on three discs) is packaged in a digipak with a slip cover. The case type for the parent profile is a no-brainer: digipak+slip cover. Right? But the three child profiles? Are they in a digipak+slip cover as well, or just in a digipak? |

| Posted: | | | | I've actually been curios about this myself. I will be watching this poll with interest. Up till now I have just used digipak... but I was never 100% sure if slipcase should be checked or not... so I just didn't check it in case it would be wrong. And if it would be right my contribution could be looked at as partial.
I was meaning to do a thread as well... but kept forgetting about it. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | As a comparison: if the same set is in three keepcases housed in one big slip cover, we call the parent "Slip Case", and the children "Keep Case", right? |

| Posted: | | | | This is true. But is it different since it is only (usually) one case? I know some people think so. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | This is one I still can't sort out, pete. So I keep case information locally. A Slip Case and a Slip Cover are two very different animals yet according to Profiler sometimes a Slip Case is a Slip Cover and that just isn't logical to me. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! | Posted: | | | | I know what you mean Skip... but I can understand what Ken went with enough to contribute the info. This is the only thing I wasn't sure about. And at least to my knowledge is something Ken hasn't commented on.
Now if I had my way I think it would be it would be no check box for the child profiles... to keep them in line with the keep case/THINpaks profiles. Why do it two different ways? | | | Pete |

That is my understanding. As to the original question, I agree with North. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. | Posted: | | | | But if it is a single keep case (housing several discs) in a slip cover is the child profiles still Keep Case with the slip cover checked? That goes right along with the digipak question. | | | Pete |

Again I would say no for the child profiles, it's just like the first example except replace digipak with keep case. Hawaii Five-O is a Slip CASE containing Keep cases. North, i have to disagree, the children ARE in Kweep cases, while the parent is a Slip CASE, that is the way i have always handled it here. Alien Quad is a Slip CASE with an enclosed Digipak, the entire set is contained by a Slip CASE and the children are contained within a Digipak. The Slip COVER is either a "D" or an "O" case. I can't figure out why ken ever made a statement that essentially makes Slip CASE two different things depending...a Slip Case is a Slip CASE not a Cover and vice versa. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
