| Posted: | | | | I know there are several releases of Music CDs that got a Bonus DVD in it. (Or a two sided Disc with DVD content on second side) Just a simple question: How should they be entered? Based on the EAN/UPC of the CD/DVD Combo or over Disc ID. Just as example: This or this. Edit: Thanks for your opinions in advance. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | If it's listed as strictly a "Bonus DVD" somewhere on the package, I'd probably enter it with the Disc ID.
However there are many Music CD/DVD releases where it doesn't list either disc as a "Bonus", or it's a "Dual-Disc" flipper disc with the CD on one side (CD Side) and the DVD on the other side (DVD Side). For those I generally enter the UPC, and have never had any problems with that. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I'd list it with the UPC / EAN regardless of what it is marketed as. Using the EAN / UPC makes it easier for other users get it into their collection. | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

| Posted: | | | | I did several of such titles, see for example The Vandals: Live at the House of Blues (610337882226) or Bad Religion: New Maps of Hell (8714092691429) and i've always used the UPC and never had a problem submitting those or difficulty for these to be accepted.
If there is a UPC i see no reason not to use it,

Paul I agree with everyone who has said this. The DVD, bonus or not, is still sold under the UPC that appears on the package. Why would we not use it? This is how I've entered all the ones I have up until this point (which is admittedly few as I don't own many of these). | | | The night is calling. If it's a DVD with a Bonus CD, I'd go for UPC. I would always go by UPC because the UPC is given for the whole package no matter if the CD or DVD is the bonus disc. |

| Posted: | | | | Really interesting and very helpful for me. Many thanks. I personnaly would go for this: Quoting cvermeylen: Quote: If it's a CD with a Bonus DVD, I would go for Disc ID.
If it's a DVD with a Bonus CD, I'd go for UPC. Even if it is hard to decide, which one is the bonus. But I can also go the democratic way, even if my feelings go into a different direction. |

| Posted: | | | | May I add a second question: How about magazines that have a movie DVD as bonus? Example (TV Magazine with the German movie "Lammbock") Also over the EAN/UPC of the magazine? |

Also over the EAN/UPC of the magazine? Isn't that an ISSN, not an EAN? EDIT: And what Pete wrote... | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0
