| Posted: | | | | I have downloaded 3.0 however I note that Region 4 has been treated very poorly. There are numerous DVD's that were available under DVD Profiler 2.5 that don't appear in Version 3.0. Can someone please explain that for me? For example here are at least 5 DVD's that the UPC's no longer appear. It looks like I have hundereds more and I'm not happy: Akira 322225-007086 Dark Blue 338683-002020 Phar Lap 398058-364696 Finding Nemo 398521-075036 Rebel Without A Cause 325336-003787 Look forward to some explanation about this. Thanks | | | Last edited: by cujodog |

| Posted: | | | | We started with an empty database earlier in the week. What's in it now are only profiles uploaded by the users beginning Tuesday (depending on your time zone I guess ). | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | Hopefully, it will never be complete As others have stated, the database was started from scratch this week, being rebuilt by all the awesome users who have submitted their DVDs. If you aren't aware: DVDP was always and is still a user maintained database. So, you are a user, fill the database. Simply restore your database from 2.5 into 3.0 and use the contribution function of the program. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

Asterix Do you mean Invelos? Either way you're not required to complete all fields in a profile, just make sure any data you submit is accurate and you aren't overwriting a better profile. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

When will the database be complete? The more users are out there that think and act like you do, the longer it will take. If you don't want to participate in building the database - fine, sit back, relax and check back in a couple of weeks. Otherwise, do what a lot of people around here are busy doing since Tuesday: submit your local database to the Invelos server. | | | Lutz |

| Posted: | | | | Version 3.0 sucks! Everytime I put in a title or a UPC nothing comes up. If I input the same information into Version 2.4 the details are there. My god does it take 7 months to get this new version updated??!! Hopeless | | | Last edited: by kanamint |

Hopeless This is a userbuilt database, you have contributed zero profiles, how can you complane to us if you yourself do nothing? Plus the new database has more profiles then the old one did, as far as i know. Anyway, what profiles did you try to add and from what locality? are you adding the UPC in the NEW way? | | | Last edited: by whispering |
