| Posted: | | | | why are my contributions to this release getting declined the instant i submit?

i get no explanation and no feedback. i corrected the mistake and it is INSTANTLY declined. not to mention i worked my ass off for this one.

| Posted: | | | | imDB can not be used as a source for cast or crew, only exeption would be for missing cast roles, if you contribute profiles with uncredited cast you have to document those. Quote: The authoritative source for information submitted should be the DVD itself. Please don't submit content from a third party database, and always verify the specifications printed on the cover. In both cases, errors abound, so always verify the information directly from the DVD whenever possible. from the contribution rules: http://www.invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | some information is not correct to your locality? currency? video format? there should be no INSTANT decline. uncredited cast? refer to the locality and UPC/EAN or disc-id's you used to copy your information. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | I personally don't own this, but are you following the boxset rules? For example I have the X-File's Complete Series, which would follow the same principal. The box that holds each individual season would follow the box set rules and each season would follow the regular tv series rules. | | | We're on a mission from God.

| Posted: | | | | ok what you can do: in dvd profiler right clik on the title, you wanted to contribute, in the collection list window. Select flag. You should see a flag in front of that title. Now from the Menu file: select Backup Database make sure you select following options: Specific location: where you can find it back! name it Test ° Backup flagged entries only
and at the bottom again [] Backup flagged entries only you should now have a file test.dpb of approx 1.4 MB. You can mail me that one if you want to this e-mail address: giga_wizard at hotmail.com replace the at with @ and join the the 2 parts together. First thing in the mornig, I have a look at it and try to figure out what is going on. 6 or 7 hours time; | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Hate to break the bad news to you, but I think what are doing is adding the cast and crew to the whole set, when it should be just the seasons. Here is what I would do, first add and edit the box set by itself using the boxset rules . Then start starting with disc 1, add to your collection using the disc IDs, you might find out that the same discs/discs IDs are used for the complete series and indivdual the season sets, which is okay, but if they are using new disc ids then you can create and submit those profiles. Once you do that double-click the Sopranos box to edit it and add each season using "Box Set Contents." Now you are ready to contribute the complete series. | | | We're on a mission from God.

If this is your first time submitting something I would start small and work up to the bigger sets later on. I'm sure you can find something in your collection that needs work and start there, that is what I did, plus you can get a feel for the rules. | | | We're on a mission from God.

| Posted: | | | | you know i worked so f-ing hard to contribute very detailed cast and crew info and changed where i got the contribution from which was from actual dvd's. it was accepted and can be seen in the online collection. there was an update and now it is all gone and i didn't have it saved locally so it is completely gone. this is such cowpie and i am completely pissed. not a way to treat a paying customer and even longer time supporter of this program. | | | Last edited: by scottiew |
