| Posted: | | | | Just updating the BD of Die Hard. The cast is credited with "Terrorists" from Alan Rickman to Wilhelm von Homburg as the last terrorist. Should I add Divider for terrorists? and how should I go from there? Divider with "Cast Continued"? Since the credits are separated with the Terrorists, shouldn't it be included? And if yes, how to continue the cast? hmmm a little pickle... | | | "What's God?" | Posted: | | | | I would enter a blank divider after the terrorist, and continue with the rest of the cast after the blank.
I've seen this done in lots of various UK profiles, but there are cases where you'll get no-votes as this particular practice is not handled specifically by the rules. | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | A blank divider would be the right thing to do.. But should I give the divider a "credit" or should I just leave it blank? Please help me... | | | "What's God?" | Posted: | | | | You're adding a birth year for Bruce Willis! I don't believe he should have one. In fact, I thought I read something here just recently about this very topic.
Anyway, I think it should be resubmitted without the birth year. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

The birthyear is allready "approved" I didn't tick any checkbox for his BY, so I ain't submitting the birthyear at all. | | | "What's God?" You should leave the divider blank. And also you should remove the YoB for Bruce Willis, as it is probably a "rouge" entry that has slipped by the screeners... | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | I can't vote yes as long as you include the unecessary BY for Bruce Willis. Previously approved or not, is not relevant, the rules spell out the purpose for BY data and there is no other Bruce Willis.

And also you should remove the YoB for Bruce Willis, as it is probably a "rouge" entry that has slipped by the screeners... Berak is right, in my die hard profile I have done the same. Bruce Willis is not in accepted BY list and I can't find any other BW, so I've corrected and submitted all my profiles containing Bruce Willis BY. | | | Updated List of Accepted Birth Years | | | Last edited: by Kluge |

I've voted against such use before (as Berak says ). Sometimes the contribution are approved, sometimes they're not. So, I wouldn't have used a divider at all The rules have only this to say about dividers (unless it's for a TV series which this isn't): "Do not include artificial actor entries to act as separators between cast lists. (e.g. "--JAPANESE CAST--"), instead use the Divider feature for this." And since the rules only mention dividers in relation to different cast lists, I think they only use should be to separate different cast lists. | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

| Posted: | | | | Dividers are not very suitable for group roles. The strange construction with the blank divider is not the only problem they have. | | | Last edited: by RHo |

| Posted: | | | | It seems to me the rule covers this. The terrorists are a distinct cast list; the names before and after are separate cast lists. Therefore, use a divider before and after.
And no, no birth year for Bruce Willis. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
