See the FAQs

Answer:

First, check your parental control options, under Tools->Options->Parental Control. It may be set to classify NR DVDs as 'adult', which may be hiding the DVD in question.

If the DVD still doesn't show, it may not yet be available in our database. DVD Profiler's database is built from user contributions, so you may choose to add the DVD yourself and user the Online->Contribute option to submit your addition for others to share.

To add a DVD that's not in the database, add it by UPC. The program will prompt you for additional information (such as title, release date, and production year).

You will need to uncheck the 'download from Invelos' button when adding by the UPC

One more thing.

When i type in the code, then in most cases, then it only show up the movie as text (only the movie name), but not link, and then i have to go into the other tab and put the movie in there manual and then the movie show up as it should and then i can add it normal.

so it looks like the code is not working wery good

The code is working quite well, at least for the vast majority of it's users.

The problem here might be that the "Add to Collection ..." menu only shows titles and other basic information unless you click on the "Preview" button.
Another Problem might be that your collection-size is larger than 50.
Check here for the limitations of the unpaid version

The code and the program work perfectly, If you are trying to add the movie to the Online database, if I recall correctly it is because you are a free user. I believe with 3.1  the decision was made that ONLY users have purchased the Program have the ability to Contribute to the database.

and one other thing as well, for others with same type problem,, , ( I can't believe this was over looked),, If your locality is not set for all,, you may miss the data.,, In my case most often,, I have Canada set for default, because most DVD's I purchase are from Canada.,, I'll then discover that, in most part, the title isn't there., But if I check USA  sure enough  there it is same UPC.. same art cover scans, I'll then select the USA  then change the locality to Canada submit and approval later it is now in the data base.,, If I discover the DVD is same except for cover scans, ( French labeling and overview) also same upc,  same disc ID,, I'll scan new covers, submit ,, and hopefully again they will then be added to database.

I'm sure that it was impossible to contribute with the version 2.4 too. I was a free user then and contribution and vote were restricted for the free version.

As I recall it the free users were able to contribute, but since the free version didn't have the full functionality you were never able to submit a complete profile. I'm quite sure about this, because I contributed profiles while I was a "Freeloader" and they usually got accepted.

In the oooold days (pre 2.1) I could contribute profiles too, but when I got the 3.1 free version it wasn't possible anymore.

(I remember when you had to take some kind of 'exam' to be able to contribute).
Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer.

*scratches head*

But it did find "The Day After Tomorrow ...". The only thing you have to do now is "Legg til DVD" and then "Add now to Owned"

Unless "The Day ..." isnt the movie you wanted to add. Then you have to uncheck "Download profile from Invleos" (lower left side)

Yeah i figure out that now.

But something weird happend.

DVDs i was testing erlyer some days ago did i get up with  more then one choose to pick with difference contry on same code, and when i was adding, then sudently did i just get this single choose, and then i was not thinking about use the buttont to add it anymore, but just type the movie in oth the other tab, and when i was testing the other DVDs code that i knew i had got up more then one choose erlyer, then it was not there anymore, only one single left there to.

Thats why i was wondring if something was wrong, but now i was adding one agein, and then i got up 4 clickable links becuse its 4 difference language on same code.

excuse me, im just new to this lol
