| Posted: | | | | Just realized that the sorting mode of the "logged in"- list has been changed from alphatetical to some algorithm I don't quite understand (possibly order of logging in).
If it isn't too much work I'd like to have the old sorting method back, it gave a fast overview about who was online. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | It's probably ordered by "last activity" like most forums. | | | With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress. |

I have been hanging around this forum for years (including the intervocative forum), and I had never noticed the list of people logged in - I never stay on the forum's front page long enough, it seems. Voted accordingly... but now that I know about it, I don't mind the sorting order either way. | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) |

| Posted: | | | | While I also like the alphabetical order, I don't think that it was alpha sort at InterVocative (not sure about this site one year ago).
I voted for return to alpha... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I don't think that this list should exist at all (or at least there should be a personal option to be excluded from the list). I don't think that anybody should care at what times I am online reading the forum. |

| Posted: | | | | You can only read the forums anonymously without login. But on the other hand, everybody can see all your postings and the last forum visits on the user profile site. So far I agree that it should be a subject to personal settings to show the online status or not. Maybe it would be a good idea to enable more levels of anonymity settings on the user profile site | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | I agree - almost all forums I visit allow a "log-in invisibly" option. |

You have a cyber stalker. Actually it's more like I can guess who but it would probably get me into trouble BTW - aren't you at work now? this stalker could be documenting your online activities and could pass it on to your boss FWIW - I would not oppose the idea of being able to be logged in as hidden. |
