| Posted: | | | | Hi there, I recently bought "Behind enemy lines" and saw that there are outtakes hidden as eastereggs on the DVD. But outtakes is not flagged as an extra. Is that right, meaning: Are outtakes only extras if they are not hidden or should it be flagged as an extra even though it is hidden as an easteregg? -Steve- |

You only use the Features checkboxes for items that can be accessed off the normal menu. Easter Eggs have their own section. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

If the disc has outtakes only as an easter egg, we don't tick the "outtakes/bloopers" checkbox - we just list it under "easter eggs". |

You just won't quit will you. If you want to do Easter Eggs as Features you can do that locally.

| Posted: | | | | Precisely and that is why we have a field to specifically deal with them, Martin. They are not features that are addressable fromn the menus.

| Posted: | | | | @ Martin: okay, you made me go back and find the last poll on the subject... Link! Back then, 65 out of 72 voters agreed NOT to list them as features. |

Me neither, but you'll find that for contributing purposes (this isn't called the " contribution discussion" forum for nothing), it's rather helpful to set a few standards/rules... So when 90% of the users decide not to list them as features, I'd say that's the best strategy to use when contributing this particular bit of data. If I want to list them as features, too, I'll just do that locally. |

| Posted: | | | | I have to agree with the majority on this one. If you want it in the features section (and I can see the logic in it) you should keep it local.
But I also see the logic in keeping them separate. I see problems doing it for the online database. It may be different if there was some way to show that the feature is hidden in the features section. But instead of doing it that way Ken decided to give the hidden features their own text window. Since it does have it's own text window I think that is where it belongs. The way the program is set up now... if I saw something listed in the features section... that I do not see on the disc through the menu options I will think there is a mistake and go to correct it. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | In this case, since the outtakes are hidden as Easter Eggs, you would not check box the Outtakes Bloopers in the features section.
