| Posted: | | | | Let's say season 1 of a TV series was produced by Studios A and B, while season 2 by Studios A and C. In the parent boxset profile, would you enter A, B and C, or only A? Or something else? | | | -- Enry |

| Posted: | | | | You make child profiles for each season, and use the appropriate studios for the respective seasons. IMO, there shouldn't be any studios in the parent box set profile, only in the child profiles. |

| Posted: | | | | For the Parent profile, I only enter the DVD production studo as they produced the set. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. As for this particular instance... not sure... but I would probably put all 3. | | | Pete |

except also per the rules if there is more than one season, which there is, you can use the box set rules Well, that's an option. Anyway, that rule can be used when "multiple Complete TV Series are packaged together". What if the box set does NOT "package together" season boxes as such (thus there are NO season-level profiles), but still contains the discs from more seasons? As noticed by others, TV series are a special case. Besides, it looks like we'll (soon or later) have a separate field just for distributors. | | | -- Enry |

| Posted: | | | | If I understand, this is a boxset of individual seasons?
If so I would put the studios on the season sets(child profiles) and leave the studios off of the master boxset(parent profile).
The only way I would put information onto the Parent (Aside from price, srp, and total running time) is if the information was identical for all the child profiles. | | | Last edited: by CharlieM |
