I'm not sure if I understand the question... Are you saying that she's credited on-screen while she doesn't really appear in the episode? I noticed, for instance, that IMDb lists her as such for that episode: credit only. In that case, I believe consensus is that she should be entered, even if she doesn't appear. Entering all cast as credited on-screen, basically.

I agree with T!M.  If she is in the credits, she gets entered into profiler.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Then indeed she should be entered into the profile. Credited on-screen = credited in DVD Profiler.

This has come up before, and someone once suggested the addition of adding another checkbox for "credit only", just like we already have "voice" and "uncredited" tags right now. The problem is that it's rather hard to document - basically all you can say in these cases is "I watched it and I haven't seen this particular actor". I suspect that's the reason it won't happen anytime soon.

Yup... I agree with Tim and Unicus.... I would vote no to such a removal... as it even says in the rules to take the info from the credits exactly as credited. And there is no exception for when they are not actually in the episode. So they do indeed get entered into profiler.

I see this happening on a lot of TV Series... with the main stars in the opening credits... you still credit these stars even if they are not in some of the episodes.

nope... In my opinion that would be against the rules unless it is that way in the credits... as it would be going against the strictly as credited rule. for you to credit her like that... it would have to say that in the credits.

What I am saying is you are adding info to a role that is not there... so it would be against the rules to do it.

But we're allowed to do it for things like puppeteers, I think it's a useful way of recording this.

Yes... but there is an exception for puppeteers in the Rules... there is not at this time an exception for this in the rules for this... so this would currently be against the rules.

Now I am not saying we shouldn't suggest this to Ken... asking him to allow this... but at this time it is against the rules. And should not be done at this time till it is actually placed into the rules... or Ken tells us to start doing it here on the forum.

So I would vote no to any profile doing it till then.
