| Posted: | | | | Hi everyone, I have just added the Halloween 2007 Unrated Director's Cut into my Profile, but to my total AMAZEMENT,the Theatrical 2-disc version is NOT in the database,so my question is how can I make a duplicate of the unrated version and then just modify the info for the Theatrical version,I already have hires front and back, but it would be alot easier to just change the runtimes, and make it rated R,and put that side a is Widescreen and Side b is fullscreen.
thanks for any and all help, friggin love this software. |

| Posted: | | | | ROFLMAO, how fascinating. i just returned from my expedition and discovered a very funny anomaly. It has been explained here numerous times here how slip cases work and that once the slip supply is exhausted the distributor will re-release the title sans Slip at a reduced price. BB had a slip on the shelf for halloween (with one of those &^*%$^^& lenticular slips witha price of $29.99 on it. Right NEXT to it was the SAME release without a slip and a different UPC # priced at $19.99. TEN dollars for a lenticular slip case....I DON"T think so...can you guess which one i bought.

| Posted: | | | | Dark: It may be but the sans slip rang up at 14.99, so even at that FIVE dollars for a lenticular slip....NOPE, not me, not this little black duck. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Interesting, I have to check out what my BestBuy has to offer tonight. All versions seem to be $19.99 unless you buy something else with it. Well, I will find out tonight how much they want here.

| Posted: | | | | I just entered the Unrated version and the profile looks to be a pre-release (no disc ID's, no cast/crew, scan of front cover only). Not sure if I have a different UPC or something (796019805575). I bought mine at Circuit City since they have a bonus disc and on sale for $17.99. Tempted to audit it but figure someone already has, so I'll wait a week or so. I was at Best Buy today and they had dozens of copies of both versions, but none had any form of slipcover. I was interested in seeing what the "3D" slip looked like, but live in a bad place for dvds.
Back to the original post question. With such a difference in runtimes and probably content between the unrated and theatrical versions, I would suggest double checking the full cast against the credits on your disc. Most roles will be the same, but there will be differences if they bothered to update the credits on the unrated. I read an interview where Zombie said the UR escape sequence went back to the original version (which was on his misowned "workprint" that leaked before the movie hit theaters), so that would be at least a couple differences in cast right there. I would guess crew would be the same, unless there's different editors or sound guys for different scenes. |

For your reference that UPC is the one I picked up at CC and I will get around to it, but I am WAAAAAY behind in my editing so be patient.

| Posted: | | | | I thought I understood what this thread was about from its title and the first post, but after what seemed to be a good second post, everything following those posts just confuses me more and more. (cue Vinnie Barbarino's "I'm so confused!") I find myself in quest of understanding and focus, only to discover myself beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. I think. Perhaps. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Whoa.. whoa.. whoa.. stop right there. Editing profiles and giving a foot massage ain't even the same thing. It's not the same ballpark, not the same game, not even the same friggin sport. Have you ever given a foot massage? Cause I got my technique down and everything. I'm the foot master. I don't even tickle. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

just profane...
Look, just because I don't be givin' no man a foot massage don't make it right for Marsellus to throw Antwan into a glass *** house *** up the way the *** talks. *** do that *** to me, he better paralyze my *** cuz I'll kill the ***, know what I'm sayin'?
I ain't saying it's right. But you're saying a foot massage don't mean nothing, and I'm saying it does. Now look, I've given a million ladies a million foot massages, and they all meant something. We act like they don't, but they do, and that's what's so *** cool about them. There's a sensuous thing going on where you don't talk about it, but you know it, she knows it, *** Marsellus knew it, and Antwan should have *** better known better. I mean, that's his *** wife, man. He can't be expected to have a sense of humor about that ***. You know what I'm saying?
That's an interesting point. Come on, let's get into character. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
