True enough, Lopek. But if you aren't intelligent enough to figure that all OS' cannot be supported and Symbian is a loooong way for mainstream (using Kahless' words) then I can't help you. Oh I forgot you have the miraculous ability to divine another users trhoughts based on nothing more than a few words.

There are some thing which I give users credit for having enough common sense to understand. Golly maybe we should support OS2 and TRSDOS while we are at it.

I prefer to have separate PDA, MP3 player/iPod and cell phone rather than one multi-function device.  That way if something breaks (PDA, iPod or cell) I'm not without all devices.  That's one of the main reasons I'm not interested in the iPhone.  No single point of error for me.

I have seen no statistical data that would indicate anything else...yet. Though China will probably overshadow the US market within the next decade, according to the US State Department.

Very good, John. except for one small problem. Your data is a trifle stilted especially the second one. I never said that Symbian might not be a player in the rest of world, Beta was TOO once upon a time. I said they are NOT a major player in the US market. As of this moment they still have to conquer the US, and if they cannot then thay are likely to join Beta. You guys are truly hysterically funny. And as I said, 100 million is a DROP on the bucket. Sadly, even PalmOS is a dying breed.

Hey I will gladly rip the US where its necessary, our Auto manufacturing is in shamble larly because of the seed of self-destruction that were sown YEARS ago. Your problem is that you seem to thin I am being natinalistic, and that is not true, simple statements of fact, and business observations made over the course of my lifetime. I am sure the rest of the world was very upset about the death of Beta, but it was predictable. You need to wake up and smell the coffee and stop trying to read things that I am NOT saying.

Also, as I said the US State Dept says that China will overtake the US sometime within the next decade, based on my own knowledge on the subject I think it will be around 2012. They have the potential to totally dominate the world economically, but befoire they can do that they still have a lot ot do to build up their own economic system.

In fact, john, if I had to guess , I would suspect that the IPhone stands a better chance of getting supported....but it is way too early to tell on that just yet.
