| Posted: | | | | The TV Episode Guide LoaderYou know, you do these things and then you wonder if people are using it so this is a simple way for us to get an idea about of how many actually use it. Oh yea, if you use the EPGL and have made some modifications to it, like added functionality or some other changes, then I am very interested to take a look |

There is several threads explaining how it's done. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

Steve thats what everybody has had to do.. so I counted myself as using the unmodified version since all I did was point towards the episode guides.. Just have to finish adding them.. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | All: Thanks for voting and your replies. As of now, 17 EPGL users. I have as of yet no idea of the solutions used by the 3 peoples that have come up with their own scripts, but I would like to know Touti: Please see the EPGL tutorial (in my signature), when you get the time. snarbo: I think I know what mod's you've made. I seem to recall some PM'ing a while back... You've sliced the EPG's into disc id's, right? skipnet50: One of the more interesting things about the EPGL is that it does not require you to use the notes field. It can rely on DVD Profilers TAGS instead Please (if you haven't already), take a look at the tutorial (in my signature). Initiate the script through a TAG <- link. Please, continue to vote! |

Please, continue to vote! xyrano spot on with the epg=>child level profile. I can have the master for the whole series and seperates for the individual childs. Works both ways. And like Ross, I too will have to start creating for those that aren't already done. Steve |

| Posted: | | | | I'm using it unmodified, and even contributed some new EPGs. It's so easy to set up, especially since it'll generate the filename for you. |

| Posted: | | | | I just finished setting it up for all my TV series. Thanks for this i really like it. The tutorial was pretty easy to follow, i looked at this when you first posted it and decided it looked like to big a hassle to do, but when i noticed you had a turorial i thought i would give it another look. I was already using the episode guides in my notes, but i really didn't like that because i sometimes use the notes for other purposes. Thanks again.

It was the "original" version (I believe) that was created when this first came up. It uses a Tag to indicate there is an EPG only; whcih is part of the EPGL as well. I just never saw the need to go beyond that. All my profiles with EPG have the Tag, so I didn't want to have many lines of code alowing me to indicate the existence of an EPG, when my short code is doing all I want. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | I'm using it and loving it. There are some shows that do not have EPG and I plan on doing them manually then donating them to Addicted2DVD web site. I'm really enjoying all the typing and cutting and pasting time it has saved me.
Thanks again to everybody who has made the EPG a great tool.
