Sometimes crew members are listed with their Union/Guild Affiliations after their names.
John Smith, A.C.E. Sam Jones, B.O.E
Do you want them included in the profile or should we enter the name only? Also, could you explain why? | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. If these are to be tracked, we need tick boxes ala Voice and Uncredited.
We should only be enetering the name exactly as it appears, and those are not parts of anyone's name. | | | Signature banned: Reason out of date... |

| Posted: | | | | In all fairness you left out some of the details Unicus. A question was posed to Ken as to how he would handle them. The user suggested to use the common name as the name itself and to add the A.S.C, C.A.S, etc. to the "credited as" field for complete acuracy. To which Ken replied "That is how I would handle it" Nobody proposed adding them outright, simply adding them in the "credited as" field where ever they are listed that way. Of all people not to list all the facts that I am surprised it is you Unicus No everyone can go back to voting to exclude them | | | Last edited: by lyonsden5 |

Nobody proposed adding them outright, simply adding them in the "credited as" field where ever they are listed that way. I left that part out because it isn't relevent to the question. What you included was how they would be handled IF people want to enter them. I simply want to know whether or not people want them in the first place. If people don't want them it becomes a moot point. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Sorry, to me having some idea of how they (or any other field) would be handled has definite influence on whether or not I would want it included. But that's just me Thanks for the explanation. My faith is restored. |

Thanks for the explanation. My faith is restored. I don't quite understand, but I respect your opinion. For me, it justs makes more sense to find out if anyone even wants the data before we ask how to handle it. Sorry if I ruffled some feathers...I was just wondering if anyone even wanted the data so asked a very basic question. I honestly didn't mean to misrepresent anything. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. But also, that way it will indicate that more people have looked at the poll, considered the content and decided for themselves they don't care abot the outcome, they are fine with it either way... In this poll apparently not important, but if you had 3 Yes and 10 No, one could argue that not enough people voted, while if you have an additional 30 Don't Care, it shows the vote is more representative... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan.
